Open Microsoft Teams and select your course in the Team section. In the upper-right hand corner, click the drop-down arrow next to Meet and select Schedule a meeting.
Complete the meeting details. In the channel section above location, ensure the channel is the correct Team/Course. You do not need to add each student to the required/optional attendee fields. All students in the course Team will automatically receive the invitation.
Inviting a Teams Room (Optional)Faculty teaching in a Teams Room, may invite the room to the meeting. This will ensure the meeting appears on the panel in the room, enabling the use of in-room technology (projector, display, speakers, microphone).
Ensure your classroom is a Teams room using the classroom directory
In the participant section of the invitation, add the email address of the room using the building name and room number.

To schedule a repeating meeting, click on Does not repeat and then select Custom.
The start date should be the first day of class. The class should Repeat every 1 week on the class time indicated by the Registrar. The End date should be the last meeting date of the semester. For a Fall semester it would be late December. For a Spring semester it would be late May. When finished, click Save in the lower-right hand corner.
A complete entry will contain the title of the course, the correct channel of the course, the first starting class with the scheduled meeting time and will occur repeatedly until the end of the scheduled semester. When complete, click Send in the upper-right hand corner.
A meeting notice will appear in the course's Teams channel.
Students will receive the following notification via email. When the student RSVPs Yes, they will RSVP to all class meetings.
Meetings can be joined directly from Teams via the Calendar or within the course Teams channel.
