Microsoft 365 Updates
Microsoft 365 is the suite of apps that contain commonly used programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Because it is cloud based, the apps should update automatically. To manually check for updates:
Open any Microsoft 365 application on your laptop. (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Go to File > Account. Then, choose Update Now from the Update Options dropdown menu. If any updates are found, they automatically download and install. If no updates are found, a pop-up window will appear indicating that you are running the latest version of Microsoft 365.
If updates are found, you will see a status bar during the installation process. To complete the update, please exit out of any open Microsoft 365 apps. The only window that should remain open is the status bar window.
