  1. Open Teams:

    1. In Windows, click Start > Microsoft Teams.

    2. On Mac, go to the Applications folder and click Microsoft Teams.

    3. On mobile, tap the Teams icon.

    4. In Chrome, open Office.com and sign in with your Seton Hall email and password.

  2. On the login screen, enter your <shortname>@shu.edu (i.e., if your name is Mary Smith and your shortname is “smithmar” then enter “smithmar@shu.edu”).

    1. Note: You may be prompted to identify your account as either a work/school account or personal account, choose work/school account.

  3. Sign in using your Seton Hall eight-character username and password.

Pick a Team and Channel

A team is a collection of people, conversations, files, and tools — all in one place. A channel is a discussion within a team, dedicated to a department, project, or topic.

The best way to get familiar with teams and channels is to pick a team and channel and start exploring!

  1. Select the Teams icon from the left-hand navigation menu, then choose a team.

  2. Select a channel and explore the Conversations, Files, and other tabs under your Team name at the top of the screen. For more info, see Teams and channels.
