South Orange Student Printer Installation

Your ID card (or PirateNet login) is required to release documents at any student printer on the South Orange campus, ensuring your documents stay private and secure. The IHS campus uses a different file and guide. IHS Student Printer Installation

  • Download the install file

  • The installation package will download onto your computer.  Locate the file that was downloaded and launch it.

  • Installation program will load and walk through installing the printer onto your computer.

  • Download the install file

  • Go to the Finder, locate the download folder and double click on the BluePrint_Students.dmg file that was saved to your machine.

  • This will then attach an installer drive to your machine called BluePrint_Students.
    Within the BluePrint_Students installer drive, double click on the Popup.pkg file to launch the setup wizard.

    When the installation wizard appears follow the prompts and proceed with the installation using the default settings.

    During the installation when prompted to input a username/password use the local computer username and password; not your PirateNet username/password. 

  • In the same folder, double click on the Xerox Drivers.pkg file to launch driver installer.

    Follow the prompts and proceed with the installation using the default settings. When prompted to input a username/password use the local computer username and password.

    Please note: during the install you may see a "The package was signed with a certificate that has expired ..." alert. If so, please select "Continue"

  • Restart your computer to complete installation of new printer.
