IHS Student Printer Installation

Your ID card (or PirateNet login) is required to release documents at any student printer on the IHS campus, ensuring your documents stay private and secure.

  1. Download the install file.

  2. Navigate to your Downloads folder and double-click IHSBluePrintStudentWIN.exe.

  3. If a security warning appears stating:
    “Windows protected your PC — Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.”
    Click More info, then select Run anyway.

  4. When the installer window titled “IHS_BluePrint_Students” opens, click Install. The installation may take a few minutes.

  5. Once the installation is complete, click Finish.

  1. Download the install file.

  2. Open Finder and navigate to your Downloads folder. Locate and double-click the file IHSBluePrintStudent.dmg.

  3. A new installer drive named “IHSBluePrintStudent” will appear. Open it and double-click Popup.pkg to launch the setup wizard.

    1. Follow the on-screen prompts and complete the installation using the default settings.

    2. When asked for a username and password, enter your local computer credentials (not your PirateNet login).

  4. In the same installer drive, double-click Xerox Drivers.pkg to begin installing the printer drivers.

    1. Follow the prompts and use the default settings.

    2. Again, when prompted, enter your local computer username and password.

  5. If you see an alert stating:
    “The package was signed with a certificate that has expired …”
    Select Continue to proceed.

  6. Restart your computer to complete the printer installation.
