Self-Service Banner (SSB) is a web-based application that is accessible by logging in to PirateNet. Banner enables users to access personal information, pay stubs, and grades. A more detailed list of Banner features is available below.

All active members of the Seton Hall community (students, faculty, employees) are automatically granted access to SSB.

Depending on your role (student/faculty/employee), you will see one or more of the following menu items.  These items will appear automatically, and you do not need to request them.

  • Personal Information - Access and update your personal information, including addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts and more.

  • Employee - All employees are given Self-Service accounts when HR creates their employee record. From here employees can view benefits, leave balances, and pay stubs.

  • Faculty - Faculty will use this option to see class enrollment lists, input grades and overrides, and view class schedules. 

  • Student & Financial Aid - New students receive access to SSB at the beginning of the Fall semester. Current students use this to register for classes, check grades, verify records, access financial aid information, and more.
