How to Embed a Studio Video to a Canvas Announcement

The Studio tool in Canvas can be used to record short video announcements. These provide timely information in a format that is more engaging than text alone. Videos can also be scheduled in advance to release on a specific date and time.

Once you record a video in Canvas Studio, you can embed that video into a Canvas announcement.

Open Announcements

  1. Log into your Canvas course and click Announcements in the Course Navigation menu.
