WordPress Blogging Platform
Overview
Seton Hall University’s WordPress blog service provides a centralized platform for creating and managing academic and University-related blogs. Hosted by the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center (TLTC), the service supports publishing, collaboration, and digital content creation across the University.
Users can access and manage blogs through http://blogs.shu.edu using a secure login experience, while maintaining the familiar WordPress dashboard and tools.

Request a Blog
The SHU Blogs service is available to faculty, staff, and students for academic and University-related purposes, including coursework, research, departmental communication, and collaborative projects.
To request a blog, you will need to provide:
Blog name (can be updated later)
Names and PirateNet shortnames of administrators
Names and shortnames for contributors or editors
Brief description of the intended use
Requests can be submitted through the official Request a Blog form.
Terms of Use
Use of SHU Blogs is subject to University policies and guidelines.
Blogs must be academic or mission-related
Users are responsible for managing and maintaining their content
Content is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis
The University retains rights to content hosted on the platform
Seton Hall University may copy, edit, distribute, or reproduce content as needed, with reasonable efforts made to credit authorship. Users are expected to exercise appropriate judgment and adhere to all applicable University policies when using the platform.
