Class Teams

Class Teams

Microsoft Teams Class Teams provide faculty and students with a centralized virtual classroom environment for communication, collaboration, online meetings, and supplemental course activities. While Canvas remains Seton Hall University’s primary learning management system, Microsoft Teams can be used alongside Canvas to support virtual instruction, communication, collaboration, file sharing, and classroom engagement.

Class Teams are automatically provisioned for courses at the start of each semester and are available through Microsoft 365 using your Seton Hall University account.

Within a Class Team, faculty can:

  • Schedule and host virtual class meetings

  • Share course announcements and materials

  • Create and manage assignments

  • Communicate with students through posts and chat

  • Share and collaborate on files using Microsoft 365 applications

  • Organize course content using channels and tabs

  • Access a OneNote Class Notebook

Students can:
