Join a Meeting Without a Teams Account

External guests who are not part of the Seton Hall University Microsoft 365 environment can still join Microsoft Teams meetings and classes.

Guests do not need a Microsoft Teams account to participate.

For the best experience, external guests should install the Microsoft Teams desktop or mobile application before joining the meeting.

Important: Depending on meeting settings, guests who are not signed in with a recognized Microsoft or organizational account may be placed in the meeting lobby and require manual admission by the meeting organizer, co-organizer, or presenter.
