Throughout the usage of the managed printing system you may be prompted to log into printer using a passcode. Typically will occur after receiving new/replacement physical ID card.

This passcode is six-digit value unique to the printing system and is not your username, password nor SHU ID #.

How to reset passcode:

  1. Left click the "Pharos Sentry Print" icon by your clock.

  2. In upper-right hand corner of "Document Management" view, select the "three dots" icon and choose "Reset Passcode".

  3. On the "Welcome to Pharos Sentry Print" screen, choose the option for "Login to continue" and when prompted log into the PirateNet Dashboard (aka Okta) and DUO, if necessary.

  4. Once successfully logged in a screen will appear with new passcode.

  5. Use the newly updated passcode to log into printer.

Please save this six-digit code someplace safe for (possible) future reference if you acquire a new ID card.

An email will also be sent from Beacon Admin <no-reply@beacon.pharos.com>" (or similar address) with a copy of the passcode as well.
