Download the install file to your Windows machine.

A security pop-up window will appear asking if you would like to allow this app to install onto your device, click Yes or Run Anyway.

Download the install file to your Macintosh machine.
Navigate to the Finder, locate the download folder and double-click on the AlertusDesktop_v2.12.pkg file that saved to your machine.
When the installation wizard appears follow the prompts and proceed with the installation using the default settings.
When prompted to input your username/password during the installation, use the local computer username and password (not your network username/password).
Once the installation is completed, select the Close button to close the installer.
If NOTE: if you encounter the following issues (based upon browser security settings):
Nothing happens when I click ( to download file ) nothing happens → right click/control+click on link and choose “save link as”select Save link as.
I am seeing a security concern alert on the download screen after download is complete , an alert in download screen suggesting a security concern → right click/control+click on file and choose “allow download”select Allow download.
