Install Amazon WorkSpaces

Supervisors may request access for an employee by completing the Amazon WorkSpace Access Request Form.

Upon completion of access being granted to Amazon WorkSpaces an automated enrollment email message will be sent outlining how to initially setup the client software and the default credentials.

  1. Open the automated enrollment email message and click the link provided to launch web browser.
    Link within automated message should be listed as https://clients.amazonworkspaces.com

  2. The type of device being used should be automatically selected, if not please select your device and click download.

  3. Once installer has been successfully downloaded, please open the file that was saved to your machine to start the WorkSpaces client installation wizard:

    1. On the Welcome to Amazon WorkSpaces Setup Wizard main window, hit the Next button.

    2. On the Installation Scope window, select Install just for you option and hit the Next button.

    3. On the Ready to install Amazon WorkSpaces window hit the Install button, software will proceed to install.

    4. At completion of installation hit the Finish button.

  4. Once installed a new desktop icon will be added called Amazon WorkSpaces.  This is how you would access your Amazon WorkSpaces virtual machine.
