Calling via Teams
With Microsoft Teams calling, users can make and receive calls from the Teams app on their computer or smartphone, without the need for a traditional desk phone. This means that you can call from your computer, smartphone or tablet and it will appear as your Seton Hall number to the person you are calling.
You will need to ensure that you have a microphone in order to make or receive calls in Teams. If you have a Seton Hall laptop, you have a microphone built in. A webcam will also work for this purpose. Smart phones will receive calls very much like a regular phone call and will utilize the built-in microphone and speaker system.
Employees that choose to use Teams on their smartphone may set quiet hours and days to avoid notifications at specified times or disable Teams call notifications altogether.
