Newark Law School Student Printer Installation

Your ID card (or PirateNet login) is required to release documents at any student printer on the Newark campus.

  1. Click to open the BluePrint for PC zip file.

  2. Click the Download icon in the upper left-hand corner.

  3. Once the download is completed, double-click to open the file from your downloads folder.

  4. Click the Extract All button, then choose a folder location for the extracted files.

  5. Navigate to your selected folder location, and double-click on PrintScoutInstaller.exe. You may be asked if you’d like to allow the app to make changes to your device. Select Yes to allow.

  6. The Pharos Print Scout Setup Wizard will appear, click Next. Then, continue through the installation steps as prompted. It may take a few minutes for the installation to complete.

  7. Once the installation is complete, click Finish and close the Pharos Print Scout Setup Wizard.

  8. On the Print Scout Configuration screen, wait until there is a green checkmark next to the registration confirmation. Then, close the window.

  9. Check for the BluePrint - Black and White printer in your Devices and Printers.

  10. On the taskbar, locate and click on the Pharos Sentry Print icon (small copier icon), then log in with your Seton Hall credentials.

Print a Test Document:

  1. Print a one-page document, selecting the BluePrint - Black and White printer as your print destination.

  2. Confirm the print job in the print queue via the Pharos Sentry Print icon.

  3. Release your print job at a Rodino Center copier by swiping your Student ID, scanning the QR code, or entering the passcode provided on the Passcode Authentication window during configuration.

  1. Click to open the BluePrint for Mac zip file.

  2. Click the Download icon in the upper left-hand corner.

  3. Once the download is completed, double-click to open the file from your downloads folder.

  4. Click the Extract All button, then choose a folder location for the extracted files.

  5. Navigate to your selected folder location, and double-click on MacPrintScoutInstaller.pkg.

If the file doesn’t run, navigate to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General, then click Open anyway.

  1. Complete each step of the installation process and accept the agreements. You will need to enter your Mac username and password.

  2. If asked for access to desktop or documents, click allow.

  3. On the Print Scout Configuration screen, wait until there is a green checkmark next to the registration confirmation. Then, close the window.

  4. Check for the BluePrint - Black and White printer in your Devices and Printers.

Print a Test Document:

  1. Print a one-page document, selecting the BluePrint - Black and White printer as your print destination.
