What is Okta and Single Sign On (SSO)?

Single Sign On via Okta allows a user to access various Seton Hall services within PirateNet without being prompted to login multiple times. The Okta browser plugins enable you to automatically access applications that would otherwise require you to manually enter your credentials. The browser plugin prompt will automatically load and prompt for installation. The plugin is also available on the Okta plugin download page.

When you log in to PirateNet by clicking on the link available from any University webpage, the dashboard that appears includes icons that provide single sign-on access to Blackboard, the University Portal, Pirate Alert and the Pirate Campus Card.
