Honorlock for Students

Honorlock is a browser-based online exam proctoring tool. After installing the Honorlock Chrome extension on your Seton Hall computer, you can log into your Canvas course and begin your exam with ease.

Before starting your exam, you’ll complete a brief authentication process:

• Scan your room with your webcam to confirm no one else is present.

• Verify your identity by taking photos of yourself and your photo ID.

Honorlock is available 24/7. To use it, you’ll need a computer, webcam/microphone, photo ID, and a stable Internet connection.

Getting Started

1. Download and install Google Chrome (if not already installed).

2. Add the Honorlock Chrome extension.

3. In Canvas, open your course, locate the Honorlock LTI, and launch it.

4. You’ll be taken to the Honorlock Launch Page, where you can track your exam progress and follow step-by-step instructions.
