Invite a Teams Room to a Meeting
Before the Meeting
Open Microsoft Teams and select your course in the Team section. In the upper-right hand corner, click the drop-down arrow next to Meet and select Schedule a meeting.
Complete the meeting details. In the channel section above location, ensure the channel is the correct Team/Course. You do not need to add each student to the required/optional attendee fields. All students in the course Team will automatically receive the invitation.
Faculty teaching in a Teams Room, may invite the room to the meeting. This will ensure the meeting appears on the panel in the room, enabling the use of in-room technology (projector, display, speakers, microphone).
Ensure your classroom is a Teams room using the classroom directory
