Restore Deleted Items, Files and Modules in Canvas

If you accidentally delete a course item, file, or module in Canvas, there’s no “undo” button, but you can still recover your content by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the Home page of the course where the content was deleted.

2. In the address bar, add /undelete at the end of the course URL and press Enter.
   For example, if your course URL is https://canvas.setonhall.edu/courses/12345, it should now read https://canvas.setonhall.edu/courses/12345/undelete.

3. The Restore Deleted Items page will appear, showing a list of recently deleted items that can be restored. Locate the item you wish to recover and click the Restore button next to it.

4. Once restored, the item should reappear in its original location within the course.
